This hand-formed Easter Island Moai-style white and brown marbled clay pendant was made in Taiwan in the 1970’s. It is made of marbled clay. The pendants are numbered and each is unique so please select the pendant that you would like. It has been drilled for jewelry (there is a tiny horizontal approximately 1mm hole). It is 44mm high (1.75 inches) and 30mm wide (about 1.25inch). Thickness is 17mm (3/4 inch)
The cabochon has a nice flat back so they can easily be added to a shrine, altar or assemblage. I believe that they can be painted as well.
Unique lot, one of a kind.
This piece is reminiscent of the heads on the Easter Island Moai with their prominent features, heavy brows and protruding lips, believed to be living faces of deified ancestors.
Cabochons will be boxed to prevent damage during shipping. This is reflected in the shipping cost.
