Shipping Time -- Most orders ship within 3 business days from receipt, provided the product ordered is in stock.  Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement.

We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by Anima Designs or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.

Shipping and handling is based upon the destination of the order and the package weight.  Anima Designs uses the USPS (United States Postal Service) and FedEx primarily, and United Parcel Service (UPS) on occasion or upon customer request.  These options are available through our shopping cart.

Packages are shipped the best way possible for the shipping charge. Reduced rates or free shipping for packages under 14 ounces are always surface rates.

Most orders are sent using USPS.  Insurance is not included unless specifically requested except for internatonal orders (insurance is required and included.)  All orders sent via FedEx or UPS include automatic insurance. We reserve the right to self-insure at our discretion.

Faster service via express mail  is available at an extra cost if all items are in stock. Please call 412-726-8401 by 10 a.m. USA Eastern Time to make arrangements for packages to be shipped the same day. While we cannot always accommodate faster shipping, we will do our absolute best to try! Shipping in one package only.

Shipping rates are calculated when all items are shipped in one package only. If you are shipping to multiple locations, shipping applies for each location.


There is no extra charge to ship the entire order as a gift. Please enter gift message in COMMENTS box when you check out. We'll include a gift card and send you the invoice.

USA, Territories & Military Mail

All orders are shipped via US Postal Service or FedEx. Delivery Confirmation is provided at no additional charge.  These orders are not insured, unless requested.  There is an additional charge for postal insurance on US Postal Service shipments.  For FedEx shipping, insurance is provided at no additional charge and will including tracking information.  Your delivery confirmation and/or tracking information will be emailed to you when your order is shipped. If you have provided an invalid or incorrect email address, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the email. The email will indicate the carrier and include the link to the appropriate website for your tracking or delivery confirmation.

If, according to the shipper's confirmation records, your insured order is not shown as delivered within 30 days from the shipment date, we will either replace your order at no cost to you, or, at your discretion, we will refund your payment (including delivery charges). Delivery Insurance does not cover theft from your mailbox or the delivery location you provided or any other loss after the carrier has confirmed delivery. In order to receive a new order or refund, you must report in writing (mail, fax or email) any missing packages to us within one month from the date of your order.

Military Mail is not always insurable. We will notify you if it is not. Under those circumstances, the risk of non-delivery is the customer's as we cannot guarantee delivery if the carrier does not. If a street address is provided by the customer, we may be able to insure the package, but this will be at a higher rate for the customer. We will notify you of the additional cost before we ship.


We ship most orders via USPS First Class International or USPS Priority International and are insured through Endicia mail. For insured packages, claims of loss will be processed through Endicia mail according to their rules and procedures. We cannot replace packages before a claim has been made through Endicia insurance. When appropriate, we may use Federal Express for shipments to Canada.

Contents will be listed as merchandise on the custom declaration and the value listed as the price paid on the customs shipping notice. Customs, tax and duty charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Everywhere Else

Most orders will be shipped via USPS First Class International or USPS Priority International. Some packages may be shipped via other carriers. Packages will be insured through Endicia insurance and may be registered at the customer's request. For insured shipments, claims of loss will be processed through Endicia insurance. When delivery insurance has been requested (for which there is a separate charge) and is not available to your country, we will notify you. We can still ship your order to you, but at the buyers full risk, as we cannot provide insurance other than through the Endicia insurance. We can alternatively use a carrier other than the USPS, but all additional charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Value of contents will be listed as merchandise and must be declared on customs shipping notice. Customs, tax and duty charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Please note that tracking is not provided for international first class mail. At the customer's  option and for an additional fee, international first class mail can be sent registered.

Note regarding shipping to non-USA destinations:

All customs paper work will be filled out accurately as merchandise, with the value declared according to your final invoice. Any duty, taxes or fees levied by your country are your responsibility. If you do not know what these fees may be, please, contact your customs office before ordering.

First Class Mail International has an estimated delivery time of 2-4 weeks. Priority Mail International has an estimated delivery time of 6-14 days. International packages are not considered lost for 45 days by USPS. Most international mail arrives in the above time frames but customs for the receiving country, the international climate, or postal service can cause delays.
