Anima Designs wants you to be happy with your purchases. If an item is damaged or missing from your package when you receive it, we will either replace it or refund your purchase price (our option) if you notify us within 10 days after your order is delivered. Please note that in the case of international orders, we will almost always issue a refund in lieu of a replacement for damaged items as these orders are insured and that is a requirement of the insurance.
Please do not return merchandise without notifying us first.
Please keep the original packaging as it may be necessary for the carrier to inspect it if a claim is to be made. We take pride in our packaging so that when you receive your order, it will be in the same condition as when it left Anima Designs. Please notify us by telephone or email within 10 days of delivery and we will arrange to replace it, if possible, or provide you with an in-store credit or refund.
Many of our items are vintage and should not be expected to be as new. Many vintage items will show some wear: this is a natural occurrence and adds to their value. Natural aging of vintage items is not to be considered as damage.
If an item is not damaged, but you still want to return or exchange it, be sure to return it in unused, unopened condition. Return unused items in the original packaging within 15 days of delivery for an exchange, in-store credit or refund, excluding both original and return shipping charges. Items must be in unused, resalable condition, or we will have to charge a restocking fee of up to 20%. If the items are damaged when we receive them, we cannot process an exchange, credit or refund. Exchanges and refunds will be made at the same rate paid for the item. (If you bought the item at a reduced price during a website sale, that price will apply). Any additional charges for new items and for shipping exchanged items to you are the responsibility of the customer. Please also indicate the REASON for the return.
Bargain items, special orders, personalized items and grab bags are not returnable. Individual items from grab bags cannot be returned or exchanged. Some jewelry items and findings cannot be returned such as pierced earrings and findings for pierced earrings. Please check the item listing on animadesigns-shop.com to determine if an item is returnable.
Please notify Anima Designs via phone, email or fax before you return any item. We will help determine the easiest way for you to make the return. The carrier may want to inspect the packaging. When you do return items, be sure they are in the original packaging, freight prepaid, to: Anima Designs, Attention: RETURNS, 2917 Graham Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15235-1524 USA. Please include a copy of the Invoice/Packing Slip that arrived with your order.
Include a note indicating the reason for your return, and whether you would like an exchange, Anima Designs credit, or a refund. We suggest that you insure the package as you are responsible for delivering the package to us in good condition as we cannot be responsible for the package you return en route. After we receive returned packages, we will inspect the items and, if an exchange item is available, we can usually process the exchange quickly. Anima Designs in-house credits will be made within within 10-15 days, refunds will be made with in 30 days depending on the manner of payment. You will also receive an email confirming receipt of your returned items and the amount of the credit. If you have changed your email address or any other information that we need to process your return, refund or exchange, be sure to let us know of the change in the return package.
If you prefer a credit card or PayPal credit, this takes additional processing time and may not appear as posted to your account for several reporting cycles. We will notify you by email, mail or both when we have posted the credit to your account. If you paid by check or money order, we will process refunds via Anima Designs check. As we do not accept cash payments, we will not make any refunds in cash.
