These howlite nugget beads began as white howlite which was dyed and stablized in a lovely ruby red color.  They range in size from 10-13mm in width and 9-11mm in height. These wonderful beads come on an 16 inch strand.  

Nicely matrixed.  Sold by the strand.

Limited availability.  There is quite a variation of size and shape of beads on each strand.  The beads are center drilled with an approximately 1mm hole.
